They are now recruiting for an Apprentice Site Engineer to join their dynamic construction team, offering mentorship and growth within an engaging professional environment.
About The Role
This apprenticeship presents a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction setting under the guidance of experienced Site Engineers. As an Apprentice Site Engineer, you’ll develop technical, problem-solving, and leadership skills while contributing to projects in the ** architectural facade sector**.
You will work towards a Level 3 Civil Engineering / Site Engineer Apprenticeship through London South Bank Technical College, with a planned start date of October 2026.
As an entry-level position, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction, engineering, and project coordination. Housing responsibilities such as surveying, setting out, planning, and ensuring project delivery in line with safety and quality standards, you’ll gain hands-on experience while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in project planning and execution
- Support project progress monitoring against timelines and budgets, including tracked reporting
- Participate in on-site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for seamless project delivery
- Contribute to problem-solving efforts and suggest solutions to construction challenges
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials used, and issues encountered
- Learn and efficiently utilise construction engineering software and tools
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge
- Promote and enforce safety policies to ensure a secure working environment
Skills And Qualifications

- Strong organisational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive within a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with construction management software is advantageous
- Basic understanding of construction processes, engineering design software, and safety regulations

Work Schedule
- Full-time position with possible overtime to meet project deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if required based on project demands
- Willingness to relocate for assignments throughout the UK and Ireland if necessary
