Apprentice Site Manager (Sizewell C)

Apprentice Building Services Manager (Sizewell C) – McLaren Group, Sizewell C

The #SZCJobs service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across the Sizewell C Project.


About the Role

Most of your apprenticeship will be hands-on, allowing you to learn through real-world experience. Your key responsibilities will include supporting the Assistant Site Manager and Site Managers in the daily management of:

  • Presentation of site areas responsible for:
    • Health & Safety
    • Environmental compliance
  • Subcontract packages: monitoring short-term programmes
  • Quality monitoring
  • Resource management
  • Ensuring subcontractors use correct information/drawings
  • Attending Health & Safety meetings
  • Managing site inductions
  • Supporting site activity and subcontractors
  • Helping achieve quality and programme goals
  • Monitoring compliance to method statements and risk assessments
  • Monitoring site resources to identify shortages
  • Liaising with customers and clients
