Whether through familiar digital systems like Microsoft 365 or new projects, you’ll work closely with your team to enhance support, streamline operations, and foster collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Support and Guidance: Monitor shared emails and deliver first-line help with digital systems and applications within Suffolk Highways and the Growth, Highways & Infrastructure directorate.

Documentation and Training: Produce guidance materials and training videos to help colleagues make the most of the systems you support.

Collaboration: Work alongside the Asset Data Team on joint projects to improve processes through digital solutions.

Problem-Solving: Assist with troubleshooting and innovative process improvement initiatives, contributing hands-on solutions in a shared, solution-focused environment.

Team Work: Participate in learning from established System Support Technicians and Technical Development Managers, with regular guidance on work and targets.
Apprenticeship Structure
- Level: Level 3 Digital Support Technician (eter regions aligned with Skills England standards)
- Duration: 18 months

Requirements
The ideal candidate won’t have pre-existing technical authority but should demonstrate:
- Strong initiative and ability to troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.) will be advantageous, but enthusiasm to learn and develop is essential.
- A clear, proactive approach to documentation, teamwork, and digital support.
