We are hiring for 2 positions.
The Apprentice Technical Coordinators
The Apprentice Technical Coordinators will support the Quality Process by assisting with the compiling, reviewing and coordination for documentation submitted as part of project life time quality records (LTQR) or project process/procedure/instruction. They also support the administration of digital platforms used within the manufacturing-construction & installation works.
These are entry level roles with opportunities to extend and develop into other quality-based roles.
What will you be doing?
- Assist with administration and support service to the manufacturing & QA-QC Depts for the project/contract as required.
- Assist with the coordination and support for Document Controller in the submission of deliverables.
- Maintain trackers for all quality records reviewed/submitted and comments raised.
- Assist with the coordination and control of inspection Records
- Assist with the review, compilation, coordination & archive of Life time Quality Records (LTQR) and Quality Release Certificates (QRC).
- Assist with the administrative support for the set-up of Project / work scopes on various electronic tools.
- Provide support for performance management systems i.e. Create, monitor and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on the Right First-Time (RFT) objectives with document submissions.
- Assist with the Verification of radiograph count and reports prior to transfer to Client.
- Communicate with Internal and external Stakeholders where necessary.
- Assist with reviewing electronic records that are held on standalone systems.
- Support the transition and application of new systems and software for record management
- Support the Supervising Technical Co-ordinator in completing various tasks.
- Coordination of quality documentation between stake holding functions. (Manufacturing/Construction - Project Management Office - Quality - Document Control - Client) on & offsites.
- Regular interaction or administration with various Electronic Data Management Systems.

Required Attributes:
- Previous work experience in a similar role or a keen interest in developing a quality career within an industrial sector.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft software and IT in general.
- Enthusiastic about working within a highly skilled industrial and office environment.
- Business level English written and verbal.
Desired Attributes:
- Level 3 in an engineering discipline.
- A- Levels in Science, Maths, or English.
- Lean or Six Sigma.
- Understanding of document management systems
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
- Understanding of welding.
- Understanding of engineering principles.
- Understanding how to read Engineering Drawings and Weld Maps.
- Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing.

Apprenticeship Details:
- Course Name: Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard
- Course Level: Level 4
- Course Provider: CSR Group (or other providers are available).
- Course Duration: 14 Months (6 Month End Point Assessment after this 14 month period).
- Course Expectation (hours per week): On average 6 hours per week off job training (326 hours overall).
