An Exciting Opportunity with Our Trading Standards Team
Role: Apprentice Trading Standards Officer (Tobacco and Vapes)
In this role, you will play a key part in tackling illegal and underage sales of tobacco and vaping products, while supporting businesses to comply with a wide range of regulations designed to protect consumers, particularly children and young people.
Requirements
- Can do attitude and a proven ability to overcome challenges
- Commitment and dedication to successfully complete the Level 6 Trading Standards Professional (Tobacco and Vape) Apprenticeship
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above
- One A-level or Level 3 qualification (e.g. apprenticeship standard Level 3, BTEC or T level)
- Predicted grades will be accepted at the application stage, but confirmation/certificates will need to be provided before any job offer is made

- Demonstrate competency in spoken English to CEFR level C2 at the interview
