Apprentice Technician - Volkswagen, Redditch

We're looking for an experienced Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our Volkswagen dealership in Redditch.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist experienced technicians in the workshop with a range of automotive maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance services as per manufacturer requirements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding vehicle issues and repair progress.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine interest in the automotive industry and a passion for learning and developing technical skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant coursework after leaving school is preferable.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from senior technicians.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ideally qualified in Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance
