Apprenticeship Data and Compliance Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced Apprenticeship Data and Compliance Coordinator to lead the administration, data management, and quality assurance of our apprenticeship provision. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our apprenticeship programme at Sandwell College.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end data management of apprenticeship provision, ensuring accuracy and completeness of learner records from enrolment to completion.
- Maintain full compliance with ESFA funding regulations throughout all processes.
- Lead internal audits and support external inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
- Manage ILR data using systems like PICS and PDSAT.
- Respond to audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Issue employer contracts and manage the Apprenticeship Service Account.
- Coordinate employer incentive payments efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Stay proactive in adapting to changing funding rules and regulations.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
- Full Level 3 qualification or substantial relevant experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience in apprenticeship data and compliance
- Proven track record of managing ILR data using PICS
- Experience interpreting PDSAT reports and applying ESFA funding rules
- Experience supporting audits and inspections, including Ofsted and ESFA
- Familiarity with OneFile and the DfE Apprenticeship Service
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of an organisation
