Now, we’re looking for an ambitious and confident school leaver to join our team in Wernick Hire and start their career in our business!
Wernick Hire is the largest of the Group companies focusing on the hire of portable accommodation and modular buildings to various industries including Construction, Education and Healthcare.
We are excited to give this amazing opportunity to a confident and ambitious young person as this really is an amazing start to your career. The programme, which is 12-18 months will not only prepare you for the world of work but also give you a L3 Business Qualification!
After successful completion, once this has been reviewed, you could become a fully fledged Hire Controller, and from there we offer further progression, the sky really is the limit!

You won't be alone, we will pair you up with one of our experienced Hire Controllers or Senior Hire Controllers, they will be with you every step of your apprenticeship to guide you along with the rest of the depot staff who will be there to answer questions and help you whenever you need it. You will also be given 1 day a week where you complete workshops with your training provider.
Who Can Apply?
- School leavers finishing in Summer 2025 with at least Grade 4 in Maths & English.
- Energetic, enthusiastic & ready to learn!
- No experience required – just a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard, a little confidence will go a long way!

- Ability to get to the job location
- Grade 4 in Maths and English gained in the last 2 years (or predicted for finishing this summer)
