Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprenticeship Trainer & Assessor
Are you an experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning professional looking to make a real difference to the next generation of skilled engineers?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprenticeship Trainer & Assessor to join our apprenticeship team. As part of the DN Colleges Group, you will work closely with employers and apprentices across the UK, delivering high-quality training, assessment and mentorship.
Deliver high-quality training, assess apprentices, and support industry needs across the UK.
Role Overview
This exciting opportunity is ideal for an industry expert passionate about developing young talent, nurturing employer relationships, and shaping successful apprenticeship outcomes.
Essential Criteria
- Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning
- Industry Experience: Relevant experience within refrigeration or air conditioning
- Training Background: Experience in training, assessing, or delivering apprenticeships, NVQs, or vocational qualifications
- Communication Skills: Strong relationship-building ability to motivate and inspire apprentices
- Mobility & Licence: Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to employer sites

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Level 3 apprentices, guiding them to successful completion
- Build and maintain relationships with employers and promote apprenticeship opportunities
- Deliver training, assessments, and reviews aligned with industry standards and awarding body requirements
- Conduct assessment and internal verification to support quality assurance
- Maintain accurate learner records and documentation in line with College policies
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams, employers, and external organisations
