A&R Operations Manager

Our new A&R Operations Manager will play a key role within our international A&R team and will report directly to the Head of A&R Operations. In this role, you will oversee the operational side of A&R projects, ensuring smooth collaboration between artists, management, legal teams, and internal departments. You will help drive operational excellence while enabling the A&R team to focus on creative and strategic objectives.
What will you be doing?
- Support and oversee the operational side of A&R projects, ensuring smooth workflows, clear communication, and timely delivery across departments;
- Coordinate release schedules, budgets, project documentation, and internal processes together with Marketing, Digital, Legal, Finance, and Royalties teams;
- Act as the operational liaison between the A&R team and other internal departments;
- Manage catalog rework initiatives and identify opportunities for catalog growth and development;
- Support dealmaking processes by preparing legal term sheets, supervising negotiations, and managing artist and label agreements in collaboration with the Legal department;
- Maintain close relationships and regular communication with artists, producers, and management teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables;
- Monitor financial and project performance, prepare monthly reports, and support additional investment discussions when necessary;
- Help identify cross-promotional opportunities, playlist support, and other opportunities to maximize project visibility.

Who is the person we’re looking for?
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar operational, label, or project management related role;
- Extremely passionate about dance music and the music industry;
- Understanding of how record labels operate, especially in terms of contracts, release processes, and artist relations;
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously;
- Strong communication and relationship management skills;
- Enjoy working cross-functionally with different departments to achieve results;
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Currently live in or near Amsterdam/London.
