Why AOC London and South?
The London and South office is extremely busy with a range of projects, including infrastructure projects, evals, and watching briefs within the M25, as well as linear schemes, trial trenching, mitigation, and watching briefs in surrounding counties. The range of archaeological activity on these sites is vast, including Neolithic, Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval periods.
The Team is also undergoing a period of renewal and expansion, with a new Head of Fieldwork and new Project Managers. It is an exciting time to join us as we look to build a stable team for the long-term expansion in the region.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
