The Vacancy

We are seeking a Commercial Architect to join our existing, close knit team. We are searching for professionals who can manage their own workload effectively to deliver project work to a high standard. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into detailed technical designs that support the construction process, while working collaboratively as part of a flexible and solutions-focused team.

You will apply strong technical expertise to ensure accuracy and consistency across projects, delivering high-quality design and excellent client service. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, as well as supporting the effective management of resources and people.

A solid understanding of building regulations and experience with different forms of building contracts (including Design & Build, Construction Management, and Traditional) is essential. You should be adaptable and able to respond positively to changes in project scope, timelines, or responsibilities, while maintaining efficiency under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
