The Vacancy
We are seeking a Commercial Architect to join our existing, close knit team. We are searching for professionals who can manage their own workload effectively to deliver project work to a high standard. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into detailed technical designs that support the construction process, while working collaboratively as part of a flexible and solutions-focused team.
You will apply strong technical expertise to ensure accuracy and consistency across projects, delivering high-quality design and excellent client service. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, as well as supporting the effective management of resources and people.
A solid understanding of building regulations and experience with different forms of building contracts (including Design & Build, Construction Management, and Traditional) is essential. You should be adaptable and able to respond positively to changes in project scope, timelines, or responsibilities, while maintaining efficiency under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

Your Skills
- Revit is Essential and a high level of CAD skill
- Excellent knowledge of NBS Chorus specification systems
- Highly computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite/ Affinity applications
- Skilled presenter both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills
- Working knowledge of UK Building Systems, Regulations and construction types
- Working knowledge of town planning procedures
- Skilled within front end design and brief resolution
Your qualifications and experience
- RIBA, ARB or equivalent registered Architect with experience of working within the UK Building Regulations
- Experience of working within a range of different sectors (Commercial experience is essential)
- Experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team
