Architect
Senior Architect – Large-Scale Technical Projects (RIBA Stages 3–5)

We are supporting an international, award-winning architecture practice with UK and European studios, renowned for delivering large-scale, technically complex projects across data centres, life sciences, retail, and workplaces.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Architect to grow the London team within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in leading design packages across RIBA Stages 3–6, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to rigorous technical delivery—something our client is particularly proud of.
Their portfolio spans high-complexity buildings, including:
- Data centres & mission-critical facilities
- Life sciences & laboratory environments
- High-spec workplace & retail developments

Key Responsibilities
- Lead design tasks from project inception to upon completion (RIBA Stages 3–6)
- Coordinate & manage multidisciplinary teams (internally and with external consultants) to ensure delivery excellence
- Develop and produce detailed design solutions—including specialist plans, technical drawings, and coordination checks across multiple disciplines
- Liaise closely with clients, contractors, and statutory bodies on large, technically advanced projects
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring compliance with British/EC standards and sustainability requirements
- Maintain Revit proficiency (with the ability to take leadership in complex BIM modelling tasks on large-scale projects)
- Represent the practice proactively with third parties, maintaining smooth project workflows

Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- RIBA Part 3 architects (institution membership commence [sic] preferred)
- Experience leading projects in large-scale, high-serviced environments
– Highly desirable experience in: data centres, laboratories, life sciences, industrial/MOT infrastructure
- Demonstrated Revit expertise (with ability to guide teams on best-practice implementation)
- Experience in collaborative technical settings (preferably within an architecture/CAD practice); ability to drive resolution of conflicts within multi-trade schemes
- Strong background in construction detailing and technical coordination (non-standard build methods, multiple special services risk areas)
Helpful, but not essential:
- Experience managing UK/EU contracts from inception to handover
- Understanding of healthy building requirements (e.g., Cleanroom standards)
- Familiarity with modern めたい medical/science fit-out compliance (especially as it relates to M&E configuration)
