Experienced Healthcare Architect
Central London (Hybrid: 2 days WFH) | £45,000 – £55,000, depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Architect to join a leading Central London practice recognised for its thoughtful, design-led approach to healthcare and community architecture.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically accomplished and commercially aware architect to take ownership of the delivery of complex healthcare projects, leading multidisciplinary teams from concept through to construction. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in project leadership, client engagement, technical delivery, and mentoring within a collaborative studio environment.
Key Requirements
- ARB-registered Architect with 4+ years’ post-Part III experience
- Demonstrable experience leading medium to large-scale UK projects through delivery
- Strong technical expertise and proven experience across RIBA Stages 3–6
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, healthcare standards, and construction processes
- Advanced Revit proficiency is essential; Twinmotion experience is advantageous
- Strong leadership, project management, and consultant coordination skills
- Confident client-facing communicator with experience managing stakeholder relationships
- Ability to oversee project programmes, resources, budgets, and quality standards
- Experience in healthcare, public sector, education, or other complex institutional sectors preferred

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of healthcare and community projects across all project stages
- Act as the primary day-to-day client contact, building strong and trusted relationships
- Manage multidisciplinary consultant teams and coordinate project information effectively
- Oversee the production and review of Revit models, technical packages, specifications, and construction information
- Ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Support fee proposals, project planning, and resource allocation alongside Directors and Associates
- Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting technical excellence and best practice
- Lead design and technical reviews, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and healthcare requirements
- Champion design quality while balancing commercial and delivery objectives
