Senior Architect – Data Centres

An established architectural practice is seeking an Architect to join its team, specialising in data centre projects. With a robust pipeline of ambitious, technically demanding work, this role offers the chance to develop deep expertise in a fast-growing and resilient sector.


About the Role

You’ll lead the design development and technical delivery of large-scale architectures, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary consultants. Whether you have pre-existing experience in data centres or are transitioning from industrial, warehouse, commercial, or complex infrastructure projects, this opportunity welcomes enthusiastic candidates with a focus on technical acuity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop holistic, high-quality architectural designs tailored to data centre specifications
  • Guide projects through multi-stage technical delivery, from concept to execution
  • Collaborate across engineering, sustainability, and structural teams
  • Ensure alignment with Building Regulations and advanced technical standards
  • Advise clients on creative solutions to meet performance and efficiency goals

Essential Requirements

  • ARB registration (or recent qualification)
  • Proficient in Revit with ability to push complex parametric models
  • Proven track record delivering technically intricate projects (data centres benefit but are not mandatory)
  • Experience in industrial, warehouse, datacentre, or complex commercial buildings
  • Extensive knowledge of Building Regulations and seamless coordination
