We have a strong and growing education sector portfolio, designing and delivering schools, academies and further education facilities that are sustainable, functional and tailored to modern learning environments in addition to delivering commercial projects.
The opportunity
We are looking for an ARB-qualified Architect to join our Leeds office, playing a key role in the delivery of education, public and commercial sector projects across Yorkshire and the wider UK.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact school and education developments, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative design solutions from concept through to completion.
Key responsibilities
- Lead on architectural design and delivery of projects across all RIBA stages
- Translate client requirements into practical, compliant design solutions
- Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction information
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, DfE guidance and relevant industry standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Engage and nurture client/stakeholder relationships
- Support planning and statutory submissions
- Attend and lead meetings, design workshops and stakeholder consultations
- Promote sustainability and efficiency in all design solutions
- Contribute to successful project outcomes through strong coordination and communication
- Help develop and provide training for junior team members

Skills And Experience
- Fully qualified Architect and ARB registered
- Strong UK project experience, ideally within education, public sector and commercial projects
- Knowledge of education design standards and building bulletins (desirable)
- Proficiency in Revit/CAD and associated design tools
- Strong technical capability across multiple RIBA stages
- Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary consultancy environment
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK when needed to support regional offices
