Architect Infrastructure Lead
Location: London (On site)
About the Role
Our client, a leading technology consultancy, is looking for an Infrastructure Enterprise Architect with 5-10 years' experience delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions for large organisations.
Working closely with clients and internal delivery teams, you'll help shape infrastructure strategy, design scalable architectures and support technology transformation programmes across cloud and hybrid environments. This is a hands-on consulting role, balancing technical architecture with client engagement and solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with client stakeholders to understand business and technology requirements.
- Design infrastructure architectures across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
- Develop technology roadmaps that support business objectives and future growth.
- Produce high-quality architecture documentation, solution designs and technical proposals.
- Support infrastructure modernisation initiatives, including cloud adoption, data centre transformation and platform migration.
- Ensure solutions align with architecture standards, governance and security requirements.
- Collaborate with delivery, engineering and project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Participate in client workshops, technical presentations and pre-sales activities where required.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to existing environments.

Essential Skills & Experience
- 5-10 years' experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture.
- Experience working within a technology consultancy, systems integrator or managed services provider.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking and virtualisation.
- Experience designing cloud and hybrid solutions using Azure and/or AWS.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Experience producing architecture documentation, solution designs and technical proposals.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience translating business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Ability to work across multiple client engagements and priorities.
