Architect | Rising Design Studio

Architect – International Projects | Revit | Design-Led Studio | Greater Ownership

You may already be working on international projects.

But are you close enough to the decisions?

Close enough to the client conversations, consultant coordination, technical direction and project momentum?

Or are you one layer removed—contributing to major work, but without the ownership to match your capability?

Grõ Careers is partnering with a fast-growing, design-led London architecture studio looking for a technically strong Architect to take a key role across international projects from Schematic Design onwards.

This is a progressive opportunity for someone who wants to step out of a larger corporate structure and into a medium-sized studio where responsibility comes earlier, contribution is more visible, and capable people are trusted to move projects forward.

The Opportunity

You will be leading the technical development of multi-million-pound overseas projects, helping translate strong design intent into coordinated, buildable architectural information.

This is not a purely production-led role.

The studio needs someone who can:

  • Think technically
  • Work confidently in Revit
  • Understand project rhythm and deliverables
  • Take ownership of the technical direction around complex design-led work

You will be close to the client, close to the directors, and close to the decisions.

Why This Is Different

Studio Background

  • A fast-growing, design-led studio on an upward trajectory, regularly profiled in leading architectural publications.
  • Young in feel, but increasingly serious in project scale.
  • High-level talent—team includes architects from globally recognised practices, bringing ambition, technical excellence, and agile energy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What Sets This Apart

  • No slow-moving hierarchy—active, energetic, and recognised contributions are expected and valued.
  • Exposure and growth—a role with more ownership, broader responsibility, and direct impact on project direction.
  • Variety of work—international and UK projects across six sectors: mixed-use, residential, hospitality, retail, cultural, and commercial.
  • Full range of RIBA stages—from early concept and planning to delivery and construction-stage coordination.

The Work

The studio’s portfolio includes:

  • International and UK projects
  • Multi-million-pound schemes
  • Comprehensive RIBA coverage: from early concept/design to construction coordination

Current role focus: International Schematic Design (SD). Overall studio benefits:

  • Full project ownership—right from design-led exploration through to hard coordination.
  • Variety: includes early stage design, technical development, UK project delivery, bespoke work, consultant coordination, and project leadership.

This role is ideal for an architect who stays close to design while also embracing the discipline and rigour of constructability.

The Ideal Candidate

You might fit this role if:

  • Currently working for a large, renowned international practice on impactful projects but seeking greater ownership.
  • An Architect with hands-on experience who is already operating beyond their level.
  • A technically strong Project Architect who prefers design-led, engaging, and non-corporate environments.
  • Have worked on international projects at Schematic Design, Design Development, or Technical Design stages and now want central ownership.
  • Male or female, partners or technologists—what we share is technical confidence, Revit capability, and the appetite for responsibility.
