The Role: Architect Specifications Manager
Key Purpose: Drive seal deals and project conversions for Vuba and SureSet—two industry-leading brands in resin-bound and permeable surfacing—by strengthening market representation, delivering technical excellence and accelerating both brands’ growth across commercial, residential and public sectors.

This role sits between designers, specifiers, contractors and developers, activated as the technical and commercial ambassador that:
- Builds rapports and secures design-stage trunkations
- Delivers CPDs, technical seminars and training
- Supports project stakeholders through specification, procurement and completion
- Complements Vuba’s rapid global expansion.
Primary Accountabilities: What You’ll Do

Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Cultivate relationships with architects, landscapers, developers, contractors and local authorities
- Convert contacts into high-value prospects across diverse sectors (education, healthcare, public realm, etc.)
- Attend exhibitions, industry events and trade shows to position Vuba as the market frontrunner

Specification & Opportunity Pipeline
- Proactively identify project opportunities and track from concept through to completion
- Monitor and prioritise engagements to maximise conversion rates
- Liaise with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to drive revenue growth

Technical & Commercial Delivery
- Present technical comparisons, material requirements and "best-practice" specifications
- Institute CPDs and data-backed proposals to persuade architecture firms and public sector buyers
- Remain visible as the trusted technical advisor post-sales as bids break down

Brand Authority & Market Influence
- Strengthen Vuba’s recognition in commercial/industrial while growing SureSet’s delegation in permeable surfacing
- Represent brand priorities in live projects, including risk advocacy or site troubleshooting

Operations & CRM Management
- Update CRM systems with prospect timelines, project updates and document tracking
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor insight and emerging demand signals

Track Record & Experience
Ideal candidates hold:
- Experience in specification sales, technical sales or business development within construction, manufacturing or design
- Direct or indirect interaction with architects, contractors, governments or developers
- Proven track record in persuasive presentations or CPD sessions
- Understanding of NBS, industry specifications or procurement workflows

Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) welcomed from Construction, Architecture, Business or related fields
- Industry-recognised qualification in sales, project management or construction [notable status, e.g. Branch Pitch Piloting]
- Fully licensed to drive throughout the UK with business road-work flex*
Note: Travel can include client meetings across Great Britain.
