About The Role:
We are working with an established and desirable, mid-sized architecture practice to recruit an Architect for an initial 3–4-month fixed-term contract to support the delivery of a significant UK student accommodation project. Renowned for creating thoughtful architecture across residential, cultural, civic and public projects, the practice has built an outstanding reputation for design excellence and technical delivery.
Joining a collaborative project team, you will play a key role in the delivery of the project, with a strong focus on RIBA Stage 5. Working closely alongside senior architects, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed technical packages, collaborating with consultants and ensuring design intent is carried through to construction. This position is ideal for an experienced Architect who can confidently step into a live project and make an immediate impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
