An award-winning design-led practice is seeking a talented and committed Architect to join its London studio. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of regenerative and sustainable projects throughout the UK, ranging from large-scale masterplans and education projects to hospitality, residential and community-focused developments.

The studio brings together architects, masterplanners and interior designers with a shared ambition to create places that respond sensitively to landscape, heritage and community. Sustainability and regenerative design principles sit at the heart of every project, with a focus on delivering meaningful, long-term outcomes for people and the environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to innovative design solutions across a variety of project sectors and RIBA stages
  • Prepare architectural design proposals, drawings, presentations, specifications and technical information
  • Manage client relationships and coordinate consultant teams throughout project delivery
  • Attend and lead meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, CDM and the Building Safety Act
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers and surveyors through construction stages
  • Take ownership of project programmes, budgets and project delivery
  • Support planning applications and stakeholder consultation processes
  • Engage with local communities and project stakeholders to deliver inclusive, people-centred design outcomes
  • Participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes
  • Assist with business development activities, including tender submissions, bids and presentations

Requirements:

  • ARB Registered Architect
  • Experience managing projects across multiple RIBA stages
  • Strong design, technical and project management skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
  • Experience leading small teams and mentoring junior staff
  • Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations, CDM and Building Safety requirements
  • Knowledge of planning application procedures
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Passion for sustainable and regenerative design
  • Interest in landscape, ecology and heritage-led projects
  • Rendering skills (Enscape, V-Ray or similar) desirable
  • Hand drawing skills advantageous
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
