Architect

Stride Treglown is seeking a technically experienced, delivery-focused Architect to join our Winchester studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully running projects and leading teams, alongside the ability to mentor and support the development of junior staff.

Knowledge in Revit is highly desirable, and the successful candidate will be expected to actively engage with Revit and utilise it to support our BIM processes and wider digital workflows.

You Will Have

  • A desire to create and deliver great buildings.
  • Capability to deal with multiple projects, running simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team – building rapport and creating positive relationships.
  • Experience of working autonomously when required, with the right support.
  • Ability to provide professional guidance to design and construction teams.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years post qualified (ARB) experience (minimum) working in a high quality, design and delivery focused practice.
  • Good interpersonal skills to include an understanding of the sensitivities when communicating with and presenting to clients.
  • Ability to balance workload as the role will require you to focus on more than one project at a time.
  • Demonstrable experience of collating and organizing technical information, preparing drawings, and documents (technical detailing will be crucial) and report/spec writing.
  • Ability to contribute to design stage risk assessment.
