Job Title: RIBA Part 1 Architectural Assistant
Location: Wokingham
JETArch Design is a young, award-winning company focusing on residential architecture in and around Berkshire, South Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, and Surrey. We are dedicated to creating innovative and sustainable architectural designs that focus on an excellent level of service for our clients.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our team in Wokingham. The ideal candidate will be happy to work in a small team within a growing practice, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to exciting projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills by working across all stages of design.
Only local candidates will be considered as you will be required to work 3 days a week in the office and attend site visits/meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop conceptual design proposals under the direction of the project architect.
- Prepare presentation material, including 3D images for presentation to the client.
- Aid in preparing tender and construction level information to meet the client’s brief and the relevant building, planning, and regulatory requirements under the direction of the project architect.
- Ability to nurture and maintain good professional relations with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to the client and design team.
- Undertaking site visits.
Requirements:
- RIBA Part 1 qualification or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
- Excellent design and technical drawing skills
- Strong understanding of UK planning policies and building regulations would be beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Flexible working with a minimum of 2/3 days in the office and ability to attend site meetings/surveys when required
