Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Developing coordinated design information at Stage 3, including preparing drawing packages for planning applications and supporting design coordination with structural, MEP, and other consultants.
  • Producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages at Stage 4, including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details compliant with UK Building Regulations.

  • Attending occasional site visits to observe construction progress, assist with site inspections, and record and report on site conditions alongside senior team members.
  • Assisting with Building Regulations submissions and, on HRB projects, supporting compliance with the Building Safety Act, including Gateway 2 and 3 requirements and the maintenance of golden thread information.
  • Coordinating design information across disciplines and maintaining accurate, well-organised project documentation.
  • Contributing to presentations, reports, and design review materials for clients and consultants.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors, participating in design and coordination meetings, and supporting project administration as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
