Architectural Designer (0–4 years) – Central London (Multiple Positions)

Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed Term Hours: 9am – 6pm, Monday – Friday (full-time, in-office, 5 days/week)

About the Practice

At Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), we create high-performance buildings that respond to their physical, social, and environmental contexts. With offices in Central London, we’re seeking Architectural Designers (0–4 years’ experience) to join a dynamic team dedicated to elevating cities through impactful design.

The Role

We’re seeking a well-rounded, detail-oriented Architectural Designer who thrives in a collaborative environment. Reporting to Architects, Project Managers, and/or Design Principals, you’ll assist in both technical and design execution for diverse projects. Your work will ensure adherence to quality standards and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support design and technical phases of projects, including:
    • Preparation of architectural drawings (2D/3D)
    • 3D modelling and rendering (master planning, office, residential, and educational projects)
    • Updating/amending drawings post-review with senior stakeholders
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory and industry standards
  • Work independently but in forecast with cross-functional teams

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
