Role: Architectural Designer
Location: Manchester
Contract: 3 months (On-going)
Working Pattern: Fully Remote / Hybrid
Rate: £24-£30 per hour

The Role:

We are working with an established architectural practice seeking a Junior and Senior Architectural Designers to support a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented designer with strong residential experience to join a collaborative team on an initial 3-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD and other design software
  • Develop creative concepts and visual assets using tools such as InDesign and SketchUp
  • Amend and update designs in line with feedback and project requirements
  • Ensure all outputs meet quality standards, deadlines, and client expectations
  • Support project documentation and presentation materials

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Part I or Part II qualified Architectural Designer/Architectural Assistant.
  • Previous experience working on residential projects
  • Strong knowledge of the planning application process.
  • Experience with Building Regulations and technical drawing packages.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Experience working on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments.
  • Previous contractor or freelance experience.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Greater Manchester based candidates for occasional office attendance (although not essential).
