Join us as an Architectural Specification Manager in London, covering the South!
You will ensure Etex delivers its market strategy across the FSi Promat brand and seek the best commercial performance by creating specifications that are robust and fit for purpose.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, specifiers, and key stakeholders to secure specifications for FSi Promat products and systems, while identifying opportunities to introduce the wider Etex Building Performance portfolio.
- Identify high-potential sectors, projects, and organisations within the assigned region, developing strategic relationships that align with FSi Promat’s growth objectives and market strategy.
- Influence specification decisions throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring FSi Promat solutions are considered at the earliest stages of project development.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Project Tracking, Technical Services, Business Development, Commercial teams, and external supply chain partners, to maximise project opportunities and strengthen the sales pipeline.
- Monitor market activity and provide regular feedback to the National Specification Manager and Product Management teams on market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, opportunities, and challenges.
- Support product development initiatives by contributing market insight, customer feedback, and innovative ideas to help shape future FSi Promat products and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, projects, opportunities, and activities within the company CRM system, ensuring compliance with company processes and reporting requirements.
- Manage and progress a portfolio of projects within the region, ensuring opportunities are effectively tracked and converted into business growth.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Etex Building Performance, consistently promoting a positive company image and demonstrating company values in all interactions with customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Represent the business professionally at industry events, meetings, and customer engagements, building credibility and strengthening relationships across the marketplace.

What you’ll bring
- Experience in a technical sales, specification, or construction-related role.
- Strong understanding of UK construction design and procurement processes.
- Experience working with architects, designers, or specifiers and interpreting technical drawings.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage priorities independently and build strong customer relationships.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of market trends and business opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction design software (e.g., CAD/BIM).
