ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN / TECHNOLOGIST

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician to join an established Staffordshire based practice has arisen.

This is a great chance to show your skills on a multitude of different projects ranging from small domestic and commercial extensions to bespoke contemporary designs for new dwellings together with residential development design for local developers.

We are looking for someone who can work on their own initiative, demonstrate existing technical ability with experience of creating working drawings, carrying out measured surveys and dealing with technical enquiries with good knowledge of the current building regulations, Local planning policies and the permitted development order.

This position is available for an IMMEDIATE start, will suit an Architectural Technician with a keen eye for detailing and a flair for design. Working on a variety of projects you will enjoy an exciting, busy environment with professionalism being your priority.

Responsibilities

  • Producing working drawings accurately and efficiently
  • Carrying out measured surveys
  • Dealing with technical enquiries
  • Knowledge of current building regulations, Local planning policies, and the permitted development order

Requirements

  • Full-time, on-site role
  • Based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme
  • 3+ years CAD experience
  • Relevant UK qualification in architectural technology, architecture (e.g., HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent experience)
  • UK housing experience is desirable but not essential
