Role: Architect or Architectural Technician
Location: Manchester
Pay Rate: £25-£32 per hour
Contract Length: 6 months (ongoing)
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days home / 3 days office
Start Date: ASAP

Job Overview:
Due to a significant increase in project workload, we are looking to appoint several positions - Architects / Architectural Technicians / Part 2 Architectural Assistants to join our growing team in Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of healthcare projects. We are seeking creative individuals with a proactive attitude who can take ownership of projects and contribute from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and delivery of healthcare and public sector projects.
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings and project documentation.
  • Assist with planning applications, technical design packages and project coordination.
  • Work collaboratively with architects, associates, directors and external stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of project tasks and contribute ideas throughout the design process.
  • Attend project and client meetings as required.
  • Ensure work is delivered to agreed quality standards and project deadlines.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working within an architectural practice.
  • Strong design and technical drawing abilities.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working on healthcare or NHS projects.
  • Knowledge of healthcare design standards and regulations.
  • Experience using MBS specification software.
  • Familiarity with UK Building Regulations and technical detailing.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Experience across both design and technical project stages.
