We have partnered with an industry-leading specialist contracting firm to find a growth-minded Architectural Technologist in Manchester who wants to transition from standard drafting to leading design solutions on world-class, mission-critical infrastructure. 📋 Your Role & Impact
As an Architectural Technologist, you will be the technical linchpin bridging the gap between design concepts and physical, high-tech reality. You will:
- Own the Design Cycle: Take end-to-end responsibility for the company's design solutions, creating detailed schedules, drawings, and technical submissions.
- Lead the BIM Space: Utilize cutting-edge BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) to manage complex drawing outputs and coordinate 3D services (Mechanical, Electrical, Process).
- Collaborate & Problem-Solve: Act as the vital link between the Client Design Team and onsite construction crews, swiftly resolving RFIs and design-stage queries to ensure a flawless handover.
- Drive Commercial Value: Identify long-lead materials to assist procurement, maintain accurate project records, and ensure all details are highly functional and fit-for-purpose.

🔑 What We Are Looking For
We want to hear from driven technical professionals who possess:
- Education: A BSc in Architectural Technology (or equivalent).
- Technical Toolkit: Strong, practical proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid grasp of UK Building Regulations and Design Standards.
- Mindset: High attention to detail, commercial awareness, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and value creation.
