Having successfully placed a Senior Architect with this client, they're now actively looking to recruit their next talented colleague.
About the Practice
An established and reputable central Sheffield-based architecture practice with around 20+ staff is recruiting an Architectural Technologist/Technician immediately.
A growing workload means they are looking for a dynamic candidate with 2–4 years' experience to enhance their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves variety, enjoys a collaborative environment, and wants to work across different stages of design and delivery, from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Working across multiple projects simultaneously, primarily in retail, commercial and residential sectors
- Supporting projects from concept through to delivery
- Producing technical drawings and design information
- Collaborating with colleagues, clients, and consultants
- Bringing ideas to life using industry-leading software

Requirements
- 2–4 years’ experience in an Architectural Technologist/Technician role
- Experience working on projects at all stages of development
- Essential:
- Fluent AutoCAD skills *(Decriptive REVIT experience desirable)
- SketchUp and/or Enscape experience for 3D visualisation
- Proficiency using NBS and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel when required

Working Arrangements
- Based in central Sheffield
- Minimum 4 days per week in the office (due to role requirements)
- Full-time office-based induction and training for the first 3–4 weeks to ensure seamless transition
Benefits
- Competitive salary range: £27,000–£32,000 (dependent on experience)
