Architectural Technician

Location: Croydon

Salary: GBP34,000 - GBP38,000 (dependent on experience)

A respected architectural practice based in Croydon is looking to appoint an experienced Architectural Technologist to strengthen its expanding team. The Role

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and coordinated construction information across a range of projects
  • Develop technical designs from planning approval through to construction and completion
  • Prepare Building Regulations packages and ensure compliance with current UK legislation and industry standards
  • Create and maintain project models and documentation using Revit
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and wider project teams to coordinate technical information
  • Attend design team meetings and site visits as required
  • Support the successful delivery of projects by resolving technical issues and maintaining high-quality documentation
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently achieved

About You

  • Degree, HNC, or HND in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
  • Proven experience working as an Architectural Technologist within a UK architectural practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction detailing, and building systems
  • Proficient in Revit, with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation
  • Experience delivering residential projects; commercial sector experience would also be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Well organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Full UK driving license
  • Living within a commutable distance of Croydon
