Architectural Technologist – Well-Established Architectural Practice (Glasgow-Based)

About the Role

Our client, a well-established Architectural Practice based near Glasgow Central Station, is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals with 4+ years’ experience looking to expand their careers within a highly collaborative and respected practice.

The firm employs 75 staff across multiple offices, with 25 based in Glasgow. Flexible arrangements may allow working from their Edinburgh office, including optional travel to Glasgow sites.

Part of a diverse portfolio—Commercial, Residential, Education, Leisure, Healthcare, Industrial, and Infrastructure—candidates will initially focus on major Data Centre developments, primarily within RIBA Stages 4 and 5. Projects are large-scale (construction costs ~£150m) and require strong technical input from detailed design through construction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
