Archiving assistant
Archiving Assistant Uxbridge
What You’ll Be Doing
- Scanning and data input in the Buying / Archiving Department
- Upload physical archiving materials, including documents and plans (sizes ranging from A4 to A0)
- Separate documents and prepare them for scanning (e.g., removal of bindings or staples)
- Navigate scanning software efficiently
- Verify scanned documents against originals
- Upload scanned documents onto ViewPoint
- Ensure documents are correctly labelled with detailed descriptions in the right ViewPoint folders
- Dispose of shredded documents in designated shredding bins
- Ability to operate A0 scanner if needed
About You
- A positive, team-facing personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude, contributing well within the team
- Organised, methodical, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Strong proficiency in IT and data input, including scanning documents
- Capable of safe manual handling of documents, archiving boxes, and disposed materials
- Based in Uxbridge for this role
