JOB TITLE: Archivist

SALARY: £48,987 - £54,430

LOCATION: London

HOURS: Full-time, 6-month FTC

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. This role might require you to be in the Archive more than 2 days per week depending on role requirements. Colleagues with disabilities can be supported with workplace adjustments, including hybrid working expectations, in line with our Flexibility Works policy.

What you'll be doing

This is an opportunity to work across the full archive lifecycle, helping preserve and make accessible the history and heritage of Lloyds Banking Group.

You'll join the Group Archives & Museum team, supporting the day-to-day management of our London archive collections. This is a varied role combining collections management, digitisation and digital preservation, and researcher services, giving you the opportunity to work with both physical and digital records while supporting colleagues and researchers across the organisation and beyond.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Appraise, accession and catalogue archive collections using our archives management systems.
  • Ingest digital records into our digital preservation repository and support digitisation projects.
  • Respond to historical enquiries and support visiting researchers.
  • Undertake collections care and facilities management activities, including environmental monitoring and preservation tasks.
  • Work with colleagues across the business and contribute to archive and museum projects as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
