About Us

Meridian Upholstery is a British upholstery manufacturer supplying quality sofas and upholstered products to retail, commercial, and specialist markets.

We are a growing business with ambitious plans and are looking for an Area Sales Manager to help develop our retail customer base across the North of England and Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, growing accounts, winning new business, and representing a quality British-made product in the market.

The Role

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales across the North of England and Scotland.

You will work with existing retail accounts, identify new business opportunities, secure display orders, increase repeat sales, and support stores so they can confidently sell the Meridian product range.

This role would ideally suit someone with experience in upholstery, furniture, interiors, or a similar product-led sales environment. We will also consider strong field sales or account management candidates with the right attitude, commercial awareness, and relationship-building skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
