British American Tobacco United Kingdom has an exciting opportunity for an Area Commercial Finance Manager - Revenue in London (Chiswick)
The Area Commercial Finance Manager – Revenue is responsible for overall pricing and revenue management across Western Europe. The role provides oversight of sustainable pricing strategies across different markets and categories, ensuring value creation and long-term profitability.
Acting as a trusted business partner, the jobholder challenges and supports commercial leaders to improve overall performance through strong financial insight and decision support. The role also fosters a high-performance team culture while delivering high-quality financial analysis and actively influencing DRBU ways of working and strategic direction.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Drive pricing and excise strategy analysis across Western Europe, identifying opportunities to optimize commercial performance.
- Conduct pressure testing of pricing and excise scenarios to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Analyze sustainable pricing in Traditional Business while supporting pricing rhythm and execution across New Categories.
- Support the development and implementation of pricing and excise strategies, ensuring alignment with regional business objectives.
- Oversee pricing governance and regional reporting, ensuring compliance with global pricing policies and guidelines.
- Partner closely with regional and area Finance teams, acting as a trusted advisor and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead bi-annual competitor pricing analyses, delivering actionable market insights to support strategic decisions.
- Translate complex pricing, market, and competitor data into clear recommendations that enable informed business decisions.
- Comply with and implement activities in accordance with regulations related to environmental protection, occupational health and safety, fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.

What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience in Finance within an FMCG organization or consulting environment, with a strong commercial mindset.
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, or Financial Accountant.
- Strong understanding of FMCG commercial dynamics, pricing, marketing principles, and business strategy.
- Experience in financial planning, performance management, and setting and tracking financial and commercial KPIs.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across functions.
- Proactive and analytical problem-solver who challenges the status quo and brings forward innovative ideas.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing stakeholders and/or leading teams in a dynamic environment.
- Professional finance qualification (e.g., CIMA) is an advantage; MBA or equivalent finance background is preferred.
