Role Overview
Location: Plymouth, Devon (covering Helston, Warminster, Plymouth, Chivenor and Ilchester)
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Service Delivery
- Lead high-quality repairs, maintenance and property services across a defined area.
- Ensure safety, efficiency and contractual compliance in reactive repairs, planned works, and out-of-hours services.
- Monitor performance targets and resource allocation to maintain continuity.
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing trends, resolving issues and enhancing service delivery through data-driven insights.

Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage delegated budgets, monitor spend and mitigate risks or financial opportunities.
- Ensure value for money from suppliers and contractors while maintaining quality standards and service levels.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing team with a culture of ownership, accountability and collaboration.
- Set clear objectives, conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Support wellbeing and professional development.
Stakeholder & Customer Relations
- Manage complex repairs with clear, timely communication to customers and stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and partners to deliver collaborative and effective services.
Compliance & Training
- Upskill to become a Responsible Person for health and safety (e.g., Legionella, asbestos) compliance.
- Ensure ongoing safe management of property assets.
Work Arrangement
- Work from either the High Wycombe or Brize Norton site (closest to you).
- Hybrid working available post-probation.
About You – Key Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in repairs, maintenance, property services, or facilities management in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong background in leading operational teams, contractors and service delivery.
- Ability to balance operational priorities, customer expectations and commercial requirements.
- Expertise in budget management, performance analysis and using data for decision-making.
- Confident communicator with experience building trust and influence across stakeholders.
