Salary: £24,853.37 - £25,513.57 per annum, pro rata

Contract type: Permanent

Working pattern: Part-time or Full-time

We are seeking an Area Retail Assistant to join our busy retail team, covering our hospice retail shop locations and distribution centre to support our shops in delivering fantastic customer experiences and help raise vital funds for our charity.

Working with a varied team of volunteers, your role will see you working in any one of 8 locations across Hastings and Rother, opening and running our shops in the absence of their managers, upholding our shop standards framework with eye-catching displays and impactful merchandising.

You will supervise volunteers on the day, providing them with support and guidance to ensure a friendly, welcoming experience for our customers.

The ability to travel independently to and from our location is a must, so candidates should have their own transport and full driving licence which is essential for this role.

The role offers variety, a wide breadth of opportunity to work across different areas of charity retail and the opportunity to gain vital skills and experience in a fun, dynamic retail setting. Training will be provided.

Contracted hours can range from 20-37.5 hours per week depending on the candidate's preference upon role acceptance. All contracted hours will be flexible and will include weekend working when required.
