VPZ is the UK’s number one vape retailer.

Since opening our first store in Edinburgh, we've expanded to over 190 locations across the UK and we're not stopping there. We are known for setting and driving the standards within the vape industry and providing excellent product and sales training.

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Area Retail Sales Manager to lead a large, high performing retail region with 30+ stores. This is a senior leadership role for someone who is passionate about driving sales, people development and operational success.

You’ll be responsible for managing a team of Cluster Managers and Store Managers, overseeing the performance of approximately 100 team members across your region.

Your key focus will be to achieve sales targets, lead operational strategy, and uphold the highest standards of execution across all locations.

About the Role

As Area Retail Sales Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop Cluster and Store Managers to ensure commercial success and team engagement.
  • Drive sales growth by executing effective regional strategies tailored to each store.
  • Manage the operational budget for your region and monitor cost-effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and optimise performance across your stores, ensuring alignment with company KPIs.
  • Uphold company standards and ensure regulatory compliance at all times.
  • Prepare and present insightful operational and financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue targets and drive commercial performance across your region.
  • Lead daily operations, manage budgets, and set performance goals.
  • Analyse and report on monthly sales performance and operational initiatives.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through planning and continuous process improvement.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Minimum 3 years' multi-site retail leadership experience, ideally overseeing large teams including Store and Cluster Managers.
  • Strong sales acumen with proven influencing and commercial decision-making abilities.
  • Inspirational leadership style with a focus on team development and engagement.
  • Excellent operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-focused retail environment.
  • A valid driver's licence is required for regional travel.
