Base Location: Beighton, Sheffield (covering Sheffield and surrounding areas) Industry: Commercial Waste | Focus: B2B Sales & New Business Salary & Package:

What You’ll Do
As the Area Sales Executive for Sheffield and beyond, your core responsibilities will include:
- Lead Generation: Actively identify and convert B2B opportunities in commercial waste reduction.
- Sales Performance: Exceed targets by proactively pitching Veolia’s cost-effective, state-of-the-art waste solutions (recycling, treatment, and collection).
- Customer & Relationship Management: Foster long-term partnerships with businesses to help them reduce waste sustainably.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the team to deliver environmental peace of mind.
- Industry-Led Performance: Exceed benchmarks with a self-driven, reshaped mind-set aligned to Veolia’s values.

Key Responsibilities:
- Generate self-led pipelines of new customers/opportunities.
- Develop omni-channel sales strategies (technical proposals, demonstrations, site visits).
- Build strong networks with key decision-makers in local businesses.
- Work within commercial ecosystems to close deals and deliver after-sales support.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a nybabu-grit salesperson with:
Essential
✅ Field Sales Expertise: Proven track record in New Business External Sales (preferably B2B). ✅ Driven Pipeline Builders: Ability to generate lucrative opportunities from scratch. ✅ Negotiation & Communication Skills: Persuasive & articulate in verbal and written sales interactions. ✅ Adaptability & Competence: Highly organised with efficient time management; ability to work independently. ✅ IT & Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with CRM tools, data entry, and digital platforms. ✅ Self-Motivation: Energised by outcome goals; challenge targets to improve continuously.
Preferred
- Exposure (or ability to apply skills) to commercial waste solutions.
- Experience with sustainability or environmental compliance sales in emerging industries.
- Configuring complex commercial propositions (transfer notes, contracts, ERP integration).
