External Sales Executive – Sheffield, Doncaster & Surrounding Areas
£45,000 + Bonus + Electric Company Car 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Are you a motivated sales professional who loves being out on the road, building relationships and meeting customers face-to-face? Our client is a well-established and highly respected business operating within the construction and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an ambitious External Sales Executive to manage and develop business across Sheffield, Doncaster and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven individual who enjoys winning new business, growing existing accounts, and representing a reputable company with a strong presence in the market.
The Role
As an External Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships throughout your territory, identifying opportunities and converting enquiries into profitable business. You'll benefit from a database of warm leads, a strong existing customer base and a comprehensive onboarding and training programme to set you up for success.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing new business opportunities across your territory.
- Managing and growing existing customer accounts.
- Conducting regular face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects.
- Following up warm leads and enquiries to generate sales.
- Building relationships with contractors, builders, and other industry professionals.
- Promoting the company's products and services to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Is highly motivated, ambitious, and sales-focused.
- Enjoys being out in the field and meeting customers in person.
- Has a strong track record in sales, business development, or account management.
- Is confident building relationships and influencing decision-makers.
- Can manage their own diary and territory effectively.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is driven by achieving targets and earning bonus potential.

Experience within construction, hire, industrial supplies, scaffolding, access equipment, or related industries would be beneficial but is not essential for the right sales-focused individual.
