Job Description
Area Sales Executive
Job Summary
The Area Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and market growth within an assigned geographic territory. The role focuses on managing existing customer accounts and growing sales within, generating new business, supporting contractors and retailers, and achieving sales / Margin targets for the company’s building supplies portfolio.
The position plays a key role in expanding market coverage and ensuring strong customer relationships at the ground level.

Location: Assigned Territory – Current Trading area
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Promote and sell our product offering within all market sectors within the construction industry
- Identify and develop new customers within the assigned area
- Ensure product availability across key outlets

Customer Management
- Maintain strong relationships with all customers to ensure competitive pricing accuracy and sales growth
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with Head Of Operations
- Support dealers with promotions and merchandising
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues
Market Development
- Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis
- Identify new project opportunities in residential and commercial sectors
- Expand distribution network in underserved locations
Reporting & Administration
- Submit daily/weekly sales reports on request
- Maintain accurate customer records
- Track outstanding payments and coordinate collections
- Provide sales forecasts and pipeline updates

Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of sales experience (preferably in building materials or FMCG)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of local construction market
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory

- Self-motivated and proactive
- Basic financial and commercial understanding
Working Conditions
- Field-based role with designated office facilities
- Frequent travel and market visits
