About This Role
Are you an experienced Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Strategic Account Manager looking for your next challenge? Our Area Sales Manager opportunity at Dawsongroup EMC could be exactly what you have been searching for, offering the chance to drive new business growth across the South & Midlands region covering Gloucester, Hereford, Oxford, and Birmingham, while also developing long-term strategic customer partnerships across the municipal, waste, recycling, utilities, and industrial sectors.
Drive regional sales growth through proactive new business development and strategic account management activity Build and manage long-term relationships with local authorities, contractors, utilities providers, and commercial operators Identify rental opportunities through networking, tenders, site visits, prospecting activity, and industry contacts Work closely with Area Sales Executives, Branch Sales Managers, and operational teams to maximise fleet utilisation and customer satisfaction Manage a healthy sales pipeline while delivering against KPI’s, utilisation targets, and revenue objectives
About You
You may already be working as an Area Sales Manager, Business Development Executive, Sales Executive, Account Manager, or Strategic Account Manager, or perhaps you have transferable commercial experience and enjoy creating opportunities while developing trusted customer relationships. We are looking for someone commercially driven, proactive, and relationship focused, who enjoys balancing new business generation with strategic account development.

Experience within field sales, territory management, business development, or strategic account management Strong relationship building and communication skills with the ability to influence decision makers A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and developing long-term customer partnerships Organised and commercially focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a regional territory Full UK driving licence required
