At Scruffs Workwear, we're building something ambitious and we need the right person to help us take it further. We're looking for a driven and dynamic Area Sales Manager to be the face of our brand on the road, forging strong partnerships, growing our presence across the UK, and turning opportunities into results.

This isn't just a sales role. It's about making a real impact, visiting customers, spotting gaps others miss, and bringing the energy and commercial instinct that moves the dial. What You’ll Be Doing

Own Your Numbers

  • Drive incremental sales growth through impactful face-to-face customer interaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities including new markets, new clients, and new partnerships.
  • Be the voice and presence of Scruffs Workwear in regional areas across the UK.

Build and Grow Relationships

  • Visit customers to install Point of Sale and fixtures and merchandise stock to maximise its appeal to end users.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers including National & Key Accounts, along with the independent customer sector, identifying areas for improvement, stock gaps, and merchandising opportunities.
  • Review and enhance Point of Sale to support sales performance and proactively encourage branches to order additional stock where needed.
  • Keep in regular contact with customers when you're not on the road, ensuring stock levels are healthy and needs are being met.

Win New Business

  • Develop and execute strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Identify potential new customers whilst out in the field, particularly as we push into exciting new segments such as Agricultural and Painter and Decorator markets.
  • Set up and assist in running national trade shows, trade days, and customer mornings.

Represent the Brand

  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of our product range, the competitive landscape, and how Scruffs is positioned in the market. Full training will be provided across all products, features, and benefits.
  • Feed insights and findings back to the Head of Sales and wider team, sharing recommendations from customer visits.
  • Support the sales team with customer queries and deliver solutions where needed.
  • Get stuck into wider business projects and ad-hoc initiatives as they arise.
