Area Sales Manager

We are recruiting an Area Sales Manager to manage and grow customer relationships across the Republic of Ireland. Ideally, you will be based within one hour of Dublin, as this is central to the sales territory and the area with the highest concentration of our customers.

There may be a future requirement to support customers in Northern Ireland.

Experience of working with partnership or loyalty programmes, together with experience in joint business planning, would be advantageous.

There may also be opportunities for overseas travel as the role develops.

SLX Blinds is part of the Louvolite Group. The successful candidate will be employed by SLX Blinds and will report to the National Sales Manager at Louvolite UK.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process for this role consists of multiple stages. The first stage will be an interview via Microsoft Teams with the National Sales Manager, based at Louvolite UK.

Successful candidates will then be invited to attend a second stage interview at the Louvolite UK Head Office in Hyde, Greater Manchester. Reasonable travel expenses incurred for attending the second-stage interview will be reimbursed.

Objectives of this Role

  • Execute the sales plan set by the business to achieve company goals.
  • Build rapport and effectively manage customer relationships to achieve company targets.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs through effective sales performance.
  • Acquire, collate, and feedback, through the relevant reporting structure, market information and intelligence which may enhance the company’s performance.
  • Actively seek new opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Proactively identify and nullify issues before they can negatively impact sales growth.
  • Responsibly manage costs related to business activities and adhere to stipulated sign off guidelines.
  • Manage customer terms (e.g. pricing, distribution costs, retrospective incentives, cut length charges), in line with principles defined by the sales leadership team in order to maximise profitable returns for the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
