Birmingham, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire – regular travel will be required
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
Full Time, permanent 37.5 hours per week
Tructyre has an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our team based around the Midlands area. You will be looking to join a business that values its people and provides support and opportunities to help our colleagues succeed.
Reporting to our National Sales Manager, you will join a well-established commercial team to service new and existing customers. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be the main point of contact for your key customers. Your role will largely be field based either working remotely from home or building relationships with new and existing customers to identify new business opportunities in your region.
Responsibilities as an Area Sales Manager:
- To identify new business opportunities within the area and prioritise securing the business which gives the greatest return for the business for the time available to invest
- Ensure that the service business model is explained in full to the customer base, ensuring the value proposition is understood by the customer and that a high proportion start to switch to this model
- Ensure fleet checks are completed to aid the sales process and value proposition creation
- To achieve agreed monthly, quarterly and annual targets and KPI’s
- To ensure all quotations are issued in accordance with the authorised Pricing Levels
- Utilisation of relevant CRM systems or similar sales tools
- To provide insight and feedback to the Regional Sales Manager regarding the customer base, market, and competitors
- To work closely and collaboratively with the wholesale/drop off parts of the business
- To monitor and manage the debt and debt profiles of the customer base, ensuring that levels do not exceed the credit limits and ageing is according to the terms and conditions of sale
- Work collaboratively with regional operations and administration teams to ensure maximum Customer contact and experience.

Requirements as an Area Sales Manager:
- Previous B2B sales experience and a proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within a sales role is essential
- Must have experience in value-based selling
- Technical and sales knowledge or tyre industry background preferred
- Previous service sales background would be advantageous
