Area Sales Manager

Home & Field Based - Isle of Wight

£37,400 + Uncapped Bonus - Company Car | - Career Development - Employee Discounts & More

At Medina, we're growing fast, and we're looking for an ambitious, driven Area Sales Manager to join our thriving foodservice business. This is your opportunity to make a real impact by growing our independent customer base across the Isle of Wight while building lasting relationships with local businesses.

What you'll be doing

  • You'll have full ownership of your territory, giving you the freedom to develop your own sales strategy while being supported by one of the world's largest foodservice providers.
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities across your designated area.
  • Growing existing customer accounts by building trusted, long-term relationships.
  • Meeting customers face-to-face to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Successfully onboarding new customers and maintaining accurate records through our CRM system.
  • Working closely with our Distribution Centre and delivery teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Driving profitable sales growth while consistently achieving your targets.
  • Keeping up to date with local market trends and competitor activity to ensure Medina remains the first choice for independent customers.

About you:

We're looking for someone with the drive to win new business while developing existing customer relationships.

  • Field Sales or Account Management experience.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • A self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own territory.
  • A genuine passion for sales and delivering great customer service.
  • Experience within the foodservice or food industry would be an advantage, but it's not essential—we're more interested in your attitude, ambition, and ability to succeed.
