Location: Field-based | Covering ST, TF, WS, WV, DY, WR, SY postcodes
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week
Salary: Competitive Salary + 50% performance Bonus

About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to support the continued growth of our UK Trade sales activity across a key territory in the listed postcodes.
This is a field-based, customer-facing role where you’ll take full ownership of your territory, managing and developing relationships with both existing and new trade customers. You’ll be responsible for delivering sales performance against budget, maximising opportunities in your region, and working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for sales performance and budget delivery within your defined territory
- Growing business through regular face-to-face engagement with existing and prospective customers
- Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key trade accounts
- Managing and reviewing commercial trading agreements, including performance reviews with key stakeholders
- Working collaboratively with the UK Trade Sales Director, National Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager
- Supporting customer events and off-site activities as required
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales reporting

You’ll be a results-driven sales professional with strong organisational skills and a proven ability to manage a territory effectively.
Essential:
- Strong track record of sales growth and customer development
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Highly organised, able to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
- Confident using IT systems including Excel and Word
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of a field-based role
- Willing to attend customer events and travel within the region
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar Area Sales Manager or trade sales role
- Experience using Salesforce
- Experience using Phocas or similar sales analytics tools

- Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
