Job Overview
As a key member of the LKQ UK and Ireland Sales Manager team, the Area Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing and executing sales strategies across the designated region.
The primary focus is to deliver a superior customer experience by fostering collaboration, maintaining integrity, and promoting teamwork. By ensuring seamless alignment between sales and operations, the Area Sales Manager will support the fulfilment of the customer promise, which lies at the core of our values and operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a cohesive and consistent approach in the execution of sales standards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance management to achieve the overall business strategy and objectives.
- Take full accountability for the area’s sales and margin performance against set targets.
- Works with the branch, sales and Regional Management teams to identify areas of business growth.
- Manage payroll, headcount and distribution in alignment with controllable sales contribution targets.
- Drive optimal performance through effective utilisation of the Contact Management system, ensuring proper execution of the sales strategy, resource planning to meet demand, and the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive customer journey plans, ensuring seamless and positive interactions at all touchpoints.
- Lead, manage, coach and develop the Sales Team Leaders and Account Managers within your area, ensuring they have the necessary tools, skills and capabilities to deliver on the business plan and uphold the customer promise. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training, and facilitate professional development.
- Drive and ensure collaborative working across operations, retail and sales, in order to optimise productivity and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Organise and attend regional and national business specific customer events as required and agreed. Some events may take place during weekends.
- Cultivate and maintain an equitable, diverse and inclusive environment where colleagues feel empowered to be themselves. Ensure the workplace remains free from discrimination, harassment and bullying.
- Lead the implementation of new processes, systems and standards, whether physical, cultural or behavioural – to drive continuous improvement within the branch network.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for the LKQ values, consistently acting with integrity while guiding, motivating and leading your team.
